Most blogging platforms have a full-screen editor by default. However, when we started we tried to experiment with a split view like this:

But, we learned this is not the best option for writing as seeing a complex UI and other posts while editing a post is a huge distraction for writers.

Therefore, we improved our UI to be minimal and distraction-free.
